District Promotion Policy Criteria for Participation in 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
All textbooks and library books are turned in by the last Friday before promotion.
All detentions and suspensions must be served by the last Friday before promotion.
No more than 2 F’s in the 3rd and 4th quarter combined.
Student must attend school the day of the promotion ceremony.
Criteria for Participation in Promotion Party and Trip
Same as above plus:
Student may not miss Saturday School more than 2 times in the 3rd and 4th
quarters combined.
Student may not have more than 5 days of suspension effective end of 1st
semester (beginning January 19th).
This criteria pertains to all students. However, special education students are subject to the provisions of their IEPs and students with a Section 504 Plan are subject to their 504s.

4th Quarter- Monday, March 27- Thursday, June 8, 2017

O Permission Slips and Monthly Calendars are available in the counseling office, main office and on the Bancroft MS website

O Students can do homework, use computers, etc.
O Aeries.net (Parent Portal)O Students received new passwords on Tuesday, January 26 in their 1st period classes.

O Weekly Progress Report O Students can complete a weekly progress report to monitor academic progress
O Progress Reports are available in both the counseling office and main office

9th Grade Programming
• High School counselors will visit 8th grade Math classes on Tuesday, February 14th and distribute Course Selection Sheets for 9th
Grade Courses
• They will return on Friday, February 17th to collect Course Selection Sheets from students
