Our residential campus in Utica, N.Y., offers you an environment in which to grow personally, socially, culturally, and academically. Our residence halls house about 500 students, and together, students learn the importance of cooperation, tolerance, sensitivity, civility, and respect.
MVCC is a residential campus. Many of our facilities, including the Robert R. Jorgensen Athletic and Events Center, Library, Learning Commons, and labs, are committed to our on-campus students, each offering hours and services with our residential students’ needs in mind.

MVCC’s residence halls are divided into complexes: North Halls,SouthHalls,andBellamyHall;eachhaveaprofessionallive-instaffmember, a mix of primarily single and double occupancy rooms, study areas open 24/7, FREEinternet-basedlaundryfacilities, and more! NORTH HALLS AND SOUTH HALLS
North and South hall complexes each consist of two adjoining residence halls: Daugherty and Huntington halls to the north, and Penfield and
Butterfield halls to the south. Both have three stories, housing about 30 students per floordividedintofour-roomquads. Each quad has its own bathroom. There are options forcoedornon-coedfloors. BELLAMY HALL
BellamyHallisa155-bedfacility.BellamyHallconsistsoffive-person,air-conditionedsuites, each with two double rooms, one single room, one and a half bathrooms, and a private gathering area. ROOM AND ROOMMATE ASSIGNMENTS
AtMVCC,weunderstandhow important your room assignmentis.Aspartofthehousing enrollment process, students complete an information and preference form.Inadditiontochoosingthe type of housing, students use this form to indicate their preferences and tell us a little about themselves, such as neatness, music tastes, sleep schedule, academic major, and hobbies.
