Wesleyan Village is a Christian community for senior adults where residents can live
in a safe, clean, wholesome and attractive environment that contributes to their
spiritual, physical, emotional, and rela-tional wellbeing.
arly snowfall in the north is driving people south and many of them are
finding shelter in Wesleyan Village. We are trying to find room for eve-
ryone. All of our rental units are committed for the season with around one-
third of them housing new visitors to the Village. We welcome them and
warn them that our goal is to turn them from visitor to permanent resident
status. It was announced this past week that we have sold 45 homes over this
past year, several of them to new residents. We need to hear the sound of
hammers and see some new brick and mortar in the Village, so we have
some special incentives for the construction of new homes. This is a good
time to make Wesleyan Village your place to be.
The holiday season is a special time here with community Thanksgiving and
Christmas dinners and wonderful seasonal programs in the Village and at the
Brooksville Wesleyan Church. We won’t have snow, but we will have
plenty of decorations and merry hearts.
The newly refurbished pool should be open for use during the first or second
week of December. We still have interior work to do on the dressing rooms
and exercise equipment area. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by
the pool being closed while work was going on, but you will be happy with
the results. This is another step in enhancing the quality of life in Wesleyan
Village.
Christmas is a wonderful time of celebrating the greatest gift of all—the Son
of God who came to bring us eternal life. The Wesleyan Village office staff
wishes you a most joyful season as we worship the coming of the King of
Kings.
