WHAT IS CSI?
(CLOVIS SUPPORT AND INTERVENTION)
WHAT IS CSI?
• Confidential student educational support groups
• GOALS: to increase a student’s confidence, decision-making skills, listening
and communication skills, and problem-solving strategies.
• By building these personal skills and providing support, students will be better
equipped to effectively cope with peer pressures, school related stress, and
other issues of concern.
WHAT IS CSI?
• All students at our school are invited to join a group. It is voluntary.
• Two trained staff members use CSI curriculum to facilitate these
groups.
• CSI groups have 8-10 students. The group meets 1 hour per week
during the school day for 8 weeks.
• As a result from joining a group, students feel more connected at
school.
