What to eat for healthy hair

Nuts are great for fighting hair loss. They haveoils which contribute to the elastin in your hairand contributes to the growth. If you don't haveenough oils in the body your hair will snap. But

don't overdo it. It will make your hair lank.

Vitamin C helps in the production of collagen thatstrengthens the capillaries that supply the hair

shafts. The best sources are blackcurrants,blueberries, broccoli, guava, kiwi fruits, oranges,

papaya, strawberries and sweet potatoes.

Spinach is rich in minerals and vitamins -- iron,beta carotene, folate and vitamin C -- which

keep hair follicles healthy and scalp oilscirculating. Iron is an especially important

mineral for hair and too little iron (anaemia) isa major cause of hair loss.

Biotin is a water-soluble B vitamin. Toolittle biotin can cause brittle hair and

may lead to hair loss. Include biotin richfoods such as wholegrains, liver, egg

yolk, soy flour and yeast.
