rounds across 50 states and Canada. The winners square off in

To make it to Orlando, you have to qualify first. Qualifying events are being held across every state, and throughout Canada.
Each event is a test of skill and race against the clock to complete a task using IDEAL® tools. The fastest times in
every state advance to the Championship Weekend, while the winners of each qualifying event will receive a Winners
Package complete with a cooler, t-shirt, hat and other gear. The events are open to professionals and students/
apprentices to compete individually, or in teams of two in the School Challenge and Contractor Challenge.

INDIVIDUALS
The Professional and Student/Apprentice with the fastest times in
each state/territory will advance to the Championship Weekend.
In addition, the top three individual competitors from 2018 will
return for a chance to defend their titles.
There will also be 14 Wild Card slots available for Professionals
and Students/Apprentices respectively. These will be filled by
the three fastest individuals from each US region (North, South,
East and West) who do not win their state/territory’s bid and the
two fastest remaining individuals from Canada.
CONTRACTOR & SCHOOL CHALLENGES
The top five Contractor teams of two and the top five School
teams of two will advance to the Championship Weekend.

THE WEEKEND IS FUN. THE COMPETITION IS FIERCE.
84 Professionals and 84 Student/Apprentices from the US and Canada will advance to Orlando for a weekend
they won’t soon forget. Because while travel, lodging and meals are all provided by IDEAL, the competitors
will have to bring their own “A” games as they will be judged on craftsmanship, safety, and speed.
THE FINALE IS INTERNATIONAL.
For the first time ever, this year’s Championship Weekend will conclude with an International
Championship, pitting the winners of the US, Australia, Canada and China competitions (one Student/
Apprentice and one Professional from each country) against one another in one epic showdown.
