It’s not the technology
It’s the interactions

IDEA ...
The Internet is a vehicle for communication. Ideas spread quickly and widely through this medium. A simple link sent over MSN or Facebook by one person to their friend has profound influence. See, the Internet makes it easy for people to tell their friends about stuff. That’s what makes it a powerful tool.
What a great product.

Vs
Focus on being comment worthy instead of forcing your message with traditional advertising.
Traditional advertising and marketing techniques are in decline. As a start up entrepreneur you should leave them to Nike and Pepsi. Use the Internet to leverage people telling their friends about you. That’s your primary objective. Getting people to talk, link, review, blog, vlog, comment, recommend, rate and endorse you, is what the game is about.
Word of Mouth
Your Product
However, I can’t overstate the need for you to have your fundamental word of mouth generator in place. This is the part of your product that is comment worthy. Internet marketing does not work without it. It doesn’t matter how many Twitter posts you make. If what you do is not comment worthy, it will not spread.Picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kylemacdonald/60760497/
Be Comment Worthy
See, the Internet marketing tactics won’t work if you’re not comment worthy. This is the single most important challenge for the modern start-up entrepreneur.
