To begin, scan the count tag number. Thepart number is automatically loaded forverification purposes.
On a blank tag, scan or select a part in thecontrol group. The button can beused conveniently and quickly to find thepart number or to trigger an inventoryquantity lookup.

Count Scanning
If bin-stocking is used at the location beingcounted, the bin location is then scannedand the corresponding inventory location isautomatically loaded. The button canbe used to conveniently and quickly listbins that contain the part.
If the part is lot-controlled, the lot isscanned or entered. The button canbe clicked to list the lot numbers that existfor the part.
Now enter the count quantity. If the part isserial controlled, the serial numbers may bescanned or selected as desired.
A void flag enables you to void or un-voidthe tag as needed.
If additional information is required, redhighlighted radio buttons will appear forthe user to enter O/P details, SerialNumbers or the QA ID for the count.When you click on the appropriate radiobutton, a selection screen will appear forscanning or selecting the requiredinformation.
When you click the button, tagupdates occur and are staged for reportingand processing.
Although custom tailoring options areavailable, this process supports all baselinephysical inventory and cycle countingfunctionality that is logical for mobileapplications. This means that regardless ofthe system features that you use, you canstart scanning today without any customchanges!
