12th Feb 1942 - Fort Siloso was attacked by the Japanese. The British soldiers were able to sink one of the Japanese ships.

Japanese built their first camp here so Yamashita could get a closer view of

Northern Singapore.8 Feb 1942Japanese soldiers used rubber boats and rafts to cross the narrowest points of the Johor Strait to reach Singapore.

7 Feb 1942Japanese soldiers misled the British by attacking Pulau Ubin. British moved their defences to the northeast but the Japanese started invading from northwest.

9 February 1942Japanese soldiers repaired the Causeway and crossed into Singapore
