Warm, Delicious & Made to Order: Duck DonutsArrives in Hershey(continued from page 13)of Duck Donuts Franchising Company LLC, headquartered inMechanicsburg, PA.
“Our Quack Gives Back initiative is franchise-wideand each store chooses the charity or organization that theywill donate to. The Hershey owners chose The Vista SchoolPlayground Project, because they see the tremendousimpact it has on a family that’s close to them. AutismAwareness was highlighted in April, and Todd is making surethat the awareness and education continues.”
Duck Donuts was founded in 2006 by Russ DiGilio inDuck, North Carolina. By 2011, Duck Donuts had expandedto four Outer Banks locations and the donut business was sosuccessful that DiGilio was continuously approached aboutfranchise opportunities and by fans who begged for a DuckDonuts in their communities. The first franchise opened inWilliamsburg, Virginia in 2013, and there are now 37 openfranchise locations and 126 additional contracts.
