Insurance For Your Life You’ve probably had friends and family members urge you to get life insurance. They say that it is for the future. That being said do you really need to get one for yourself? Well the answer to that will depend on your current situation. If you’re single then there’s really no need for you to get one. You have to remember that life insurance is not for you; rather, it is for the people who are dependent on you when you do move on from this earth. Simply put, it’s to take care of the people you leave behind when you pass on. This means if you’re single and no one is really dependent on you then there’s really no need. After all, to who will the insurance proceeds go? If you have someone to take care of either now or in the near future then it’s a no brainer. What do I mean by that? Well, let me explain. For example, you may be single now but what if you got married tomorrow and planned to have kids? That’s a good a reason as any to get life insurance. Heck, even if you don’t plan to have kids you should still think about getting one. Why? The answer is simple – life is unpredictable and in case something happens to you (heaven forbid it doesn’t) then you want to be able to leave something to your spouse to tide him or her over when you’re gone. This can be a big help in many ways. This could help them get back on their feet after the emotional pain and maybe find a job if they don’t work. It can also help with any medical bills should the worst case scenario occurs and your loved ones need to be hospitalized as a result of your passing. Of course it’s not only that; if you have any debts such as loans and mortgages it can help pay them off so your family doesn’t get
