How to apply profiles in MT4

Applying profiles will save you a lot of time and speed up your ability to get to the key markets

1. Go to File > Profiles2. Click one of the profiles• Normally there will be

default plus a few other options

• In my example I have already created 4 different profiles

Creating your own MT4 profileNow it is time to create your own profile

1. In this case we’ll create a FX Majors profile covering the 4 major FX pairs• EURUSD• GBPUSD• USDCHF• USDJPY

1. Close all the current charts on your current layout and open the 4 pairs listed above on the one screen

By hitting cascade it automatically configures your open windows to fit the screen perfectly

You need to be using profiles on your MT4 as they:

1. Go to File > Profiles > Save As2. Give it a memorable name such

as FX Majors and hit OK3. You have now save your first

profile4. Continue adding more profiles

to make your MT4 navigation easier
