Introduction

You and your classmates have been chosen to market and promote an advertisement poster of a specific Industrial Revolution invention. It is your teams duty to help convince society to purchase these inventions.

TaskIt is your groups job to research the following inventions of the Industrial Revolution using the websites listed at the bottom of the page. (You may use more sources than the website listed, however you MUST cite where the information came from)

ProcessStep 1: Discuss the research found on each invention, and as a group choose one of the inventions to advertise.

Step 2: As a group, create a poster using art materials provided in the classroom to market your product. (Remember: It is your job to convince society to buy your product) Be sure to include some of the research your group gathered to support your advertisement.

Step 3: Use the graphic organizer provided in the link below to record information on each invention. Be sure to write your name on this organizer, it will be collected at the end of your quest.

Step 4: As a group, present your poster to the Class. It is your job to explain the invention you chose, why you chose that particular invention and convince the class to buy your product.
