Sept. 24, 2010 Preparing for Q3 Earnings Season, Election and Some Trade Ideas One thing I would follow heading into Q3 earnings season is the number of, magnitude of and type of firms that issue negative / positive pre-announcements heading into Q3 EPS season; that should provide some general sense of short-term direction for various sectors.
