Member Services Maintain its relevance by having a large (200+) and diverse membership base and providing services that meet members’ needs. Networking Activities Third Thursday of every month BD Breakfast Leaders Lunch Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony Golf Day Industry Visits Communications to members Fortnight E-newsletters Tender Updates SA Defence Business- promote members capabilities and achievements Capability Advocacy Investigate and advocate ways of sustaining the SA defence and related industry capabilities. Voice for our members Participate in Government and Industry Forums Provide submissions to Government on our members behalf ( seek member feedback) Support industry involvement at tradeshows Representation on industry issues to political leaders, media and stakeholders Industry Development assist our members to develop and sustain their capabilities through the current decline in Defence expenditure in order to enhance their opportunities and improve their competitiveness gap analysis, tailored training, business referrals, business review and Supplier Continuous Improvement Program referrals; working with the Primes to identify where their supply chain requirements may be met using SA based SMEs and assist in facilitating any resource requirements; industry briefings and workshops (including on Defence project opportunities) defence industry culture program for potential and new entrants to the industry defence and business leadership training Skilled Development will support the development and maintenance of a skilled workforce in order to ensure that there is capacity to service the demands and any future growth Workforce Planning Workforce Development- upskilling your workers Education Pipelines Corporate Services Corporate Governance HR Management WHS Board Governance
