Cooperative Educational Model is a suitable approach in terms of university- industry collaboration.

Cooperative Educational Model, is that students enhance their professional development by working during their education.

Students may work not only specific days or weeks in an academic term but also throughout the whole term.

Cooperative Education is compulsory for all departments.

All Students attend Cooperative Education.

There isn’t on the job training in the first year. However, each and every student has to take the course “Introduction to Cooperative Education” and pass it..

There is 12 month- on job training in second, third and fourth years for three terms.

The most common application abroad is that the time spent at a workplace is three six months periods (18 months in total).

The Success of Cooperative Education Model

Our students in the department of business administration provided the company Hidrosan Damper ve Hidrolik Makinalar Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş (Sarayköy, Ankara) with ISO 9001 Quality Certificate through their constant cooperative education model applications.

After the in company and international scale investigations for the invention called optical sensor bottle (Optik sensörlü şişelik) created in about 12 weeks, the company Arçelik purchased this invention and made a patent application.
