We Read the Small Print

One of MCRA’s commercial clients sustained a substantial loss where they faced litigation

for allegedly distributing counterfeit products.

The claim was originally denied by the insurance carrier, leaving the insured facing almost $1

million in out-of pocket expenses for legal fees and payment in the lawsuit.

After MCRA reviewed the carrier’s paperwork for loopholes, our account manager found that

the claim had not been categorized properly by the insurance carrier.

The account representative went back to the carrier to bring this information to their attention
