One of the services that Northeast Executive Abstract Agency, Inc, offers is title insurance. A title is a document that guarantees legal ownership and use of a property to a buyer.

Title Insurance However, certain conditions, known as title

defects, can undermine a buyer’s claim to a property. Three of the more common title defects are property liens, forgeries, and encumbrances. When buyers purchase title insurance from a licensed company, they protect themselves from the liabilities that come with having a defective title. A title insurance company can perform detailed title searches, perform the necessary legal action to secure your claim to a property, and even pay to remove a lien from a property deed.
