Tiny species of Monera, Protista, and Fungi whichare invisible to the naked eye, are displayed usingmagnified photos and models.
Thecharacteristics,structrues,andlifecyclesofmajorplanttaxa (eg.,bryophytes,pteridophytes,gymnosperms,andangiosperms)areprovided.Representativenativeandendemicspeciesarealsoondisplay.
The mammals collection is the nation'slargest, andhas 23 native species on display, including awild foxthat is rarely seen in Korea.
ThebirdcollectionsincluderesidentandmigratorybirdsfoundinKorea.Inparticular,theroutesofmigratorybirdsareshownwiththecorrespondingbirdspecimens.
Specimens and photographs of 221 endangeredspecies recognized by the Ministry of Environmentare displayed to alert the public to the urgent needto conserve biodiversity.
Exhibition&EducationINBR:Hall2Major ecosystems in Korea Use of Biological
Resources Conservation of Biodiversity
Major ecosystems found in Korea, includingforest, river/lake, tidal flat, and marineecosystems, are recreated as highly detaileddioramas.

Korea has been taking various measures suchas the protection of naturall habitats and thecessation of illegal hunting and trading toprotect wild animals and plants fromextinction and conserve biological dibversity.
