Every number has a square.
We show a square by writing a superscript 2.
The area of a square (shape) is:
Length x Width
Length and Width of a square are the same.
So, the area of a square is s2. (s means the length of the sides)
3 32 = 3 x 3 = 93
32 = 3 x 3 = 9
