Support National Scouts’ Organizations (NSO) with the delivery EE programs thru experiential education and implement projects on biodiversity.
Celebrate 40th Anniversary of United Nation Education Program (UNEP) on June 5, 2012.

II. OBJECTIVESII. OBJECTIVESAt the end of the Workshops YSBAT to … Raise awareness (e-issues & identify
local actions that you could undertake).
Support NSOs and encourage you (take active roles to develop EE programs and adopt World Scout Environment Program of World Organization of Scout Movement=WOSM).
Establish network of potential leaders (lead, monitor & evaluate e-activities and share information on the existing partnerships in environment).

NON FORMAL EENON FORMAL EEYouths and adults like Scouts practice EE
NON FORMAL (outside school syllabus). Programs involve publics──youngsters to adults.
The teaching is non formal (both TIME and GRADES are NOT emphasized).
“Students” learn at their own time Method: “learning-by-doing” (has high
degree of meaningful and remembered longer by these “outside classroom students”)
Lately, EE has been infused in and a part of the learning process.

Negative: Action decreases the quality of environment.

CONCLUSION
EE Approach in Scouting adopts holistic approach
Non formal education plays complementary role to the formal education in school.
The non formal is another way of learning but suggested to utilize all UNESCO goals.
It recognizes that it can only make a contribution to the community.
It will promote the Earth to be the BEST and suitable environment for us to live.
