GRADUATION IS A SPECIAL DAY

• Seniors must attend all practices.• Cap and gown will be required at event.• This is a formal event, so clothing must fit the

occasion.• Behavior must fit the occasion also.

– No balloons, air horns, beach balls, bubbles, etc.

UC/CSU Admission Requirements

SAT/ACT TestingStudent should have already taken the SAT and/or ACT at least once by now. If applying to UCs you should have already taken the SAT Subject Tests.Some impacted campuses require testing to be completed by November. Check websites for campus requirements.

VENTURA COMMUNITY COLLEGE

If you are planning on attending VC, we will take you to the college and help you get registered in May.

IMPORTANT: You CANNOT transfer to a UC or CSU without completing 60 transferable units. This generally means TWO YEARS (or MORE) of community college before you can transfer to a public school in California.

done so already.• Create application log-ons and complete as much

of the online application as you can. • November- workshops covering:

– UC applications– CSU applications– Common Application Trouble Shooting

Continue to take rigorous classes. (It is YOUR responsibility to let colleges know if you change your schedule at the semester.)

Don’t let your grades slip. Colleges have revoked admissions based on poor

academic performance 2nd semester.
