The style of the interview is entertainment because it’s a red carpet interview there is a lot of confidence building questions being used the interviewer is praising and complimenting her on the way she looks and her music etc. this makes it look more friendly between Ariana at the interviewers like a casual chat, because of the interview being live she’s making her comfortable also it has to be quick they have to have a certain amount of time to ask all they need to before the next guest arrives also red carpet interviews aren’t set up they get who’s walking by and asks them for an interview, there is a lot of active listening and body language being used because there are two people interviewing it spreads the conversation out, there are a lot of direct questions and multiple asking her about her album and upcoming things she has also what she is doing for the show and what she’s been doing to the lead up to it all. Because Ariana knows one of the interviewers it makes it come across more friendly like a chat and makes it easy to ask questions makes it flow and the interviewers know what to ask because of her knowing Ariana personally. The purpose for the interview is to keep people watching the awards show red carpet because its live they need to get the stars there to fill in time and to get people excited for the actual awards show to start to keep people watching and to keep them interested they need to have something happening and be calm and to get through all the different starts that arrive. The journalistic context of the interview is for television.
