3 INITIAL IDEAS IN RELATION TO NARRATIVE OF VIDEO

IDEA 1

Photographer goes to an abandoned building to take photos. While inside he sees a girl walking through the corridor so he follows her. When he catches up with her she is covering her face and then reveals her eyes are completely black as she is a demon. The photographer runs away and ends up running into the middle of a satanic ritual in a forest. The girl and the cult chase him as he run to an old farm which at first seems to be peaceful but he sees shadows of the group along the floor so the photographer runs into the closest room which only has an old TV and a VHS tape next to it. The photographer puts the tape in the video player he gets trapped in the TV with the villains.

IDEA 2

Reverse chronological order. The protagonist wakes up on a park bench. Goes to a party and becomes intoxicated. Goes home gets ready. Has breakfast with loving family. Goes back to the bench to show this is a recurring event.

IDEA 3

Abstract. Black and white shots through the city showing graffiti. Old man saying “beware the rift”. Coloured spirals behind central cats. Bubbles. Shots of water in slow motion and sped up.
