The FPD farm and learning center in Negros Oriental at the coast of Tanjay city, Barangay Opao and Lomboy, are private owned land that been contract for lease to start cultivation and integration of organic farming system. The farms have a sum parcel of 4 hectares that covers flatland and wetland. The farms are on the first stage of process on establishing a farm business. Opao farm is trying to feature the organic native hog and poultry animals raising, and organic vegetable production. Lomboy farm is the venue for free-range cattle and goats; organic vegetables also been slowly practiced and vermicomposting.

The Foundation University Demonstration Farms are located in Tanjay City and in the Municipality of Amlan, Negros Oriental. It has a total of 72 hectares of area that encompasses wetlands, hills and flatlands hence, it is a venue for diversified farming system. The farms are operating different projects and current developments that serve as different areas of learning: The Organic rice production, The Organic Vegetable Production, The Organic Fertilizer ProductionThe FU Dairy Multiplier Farm, The Swine Production, The Poultry Egg ProductionThe Dairy Buffalo Project, The Aquaculture Section

Staffing and organizing
The Farm in-charge instructed the scholars to do the staffing and weekly schedule for the entire period of their OJT in the farm.

Managerial positionWeekly rotation of assignments. The assigned manager for the week are given instructions by the Farm in-charge prior to the daily activities. He is the one who will give instructions to his/her co-scholars for the day’s tasks.
This is to give an opportunity the scholars to experience handling personnel/workers and develop leadership skills. Further understand how to handle the farm operations.

BOOKKEEPING

LECTURE IN SIMPLE BOOKKEEPING
At first, the coordinator do the bookkeeping lecture every Monday since the rotation is weekly, until we came up a decision to have a one day simple bookkeeping lecture by her.
