Who am I

It is about 10 in long. It weighs 2-3 Lb. It uses it’s tall as a

rudder. Did you know that it

does not have webbedfeet.

The moisture of themusk glands is used tomake perfume.

The early years

When muskrats areborn they weighabout 8 oz.

Muskrats nurse 3 to4 weeks . It takes30 days for them todevelop.

Habitat sweet Habitat

Muskrats are found inwet places, they likelocations with four tosix feet of water.

Muskrats found inponds,lakes and swapsbut their favorite placeis marshes, where thewater level stays thesame.

What’s on the menu

They eat grass andother vegetationand aquaticanimals. Like smallfish and water bugs

Making tracks

They look like rattracks or smallbeaver tracks. Youwould find themnear water.

Simply irresistible

It may travelseveral miles for agood habitat.

They can swimbackwards.

They live in northAmerica.
