5 ways to save the planet:

Plant a tree.

If you have the means to plant a tree, start digging. Trees

absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen. A single tree

will absorb approximately one tone of carbon dioxide

during its lifetime.

Threes absorb carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas.

Get a tune up! Properly maintained vehicles get

better gas mileage and emit fewer pollutants.

Conserve energy. You will lower your utility bills and

avoid peak demands on utility plants.

Don`t let the water run while you shave or wash

your teeth. Turn it on only when you need it. Every

minute the faucet runs, twenty liter of water go

down the drain.

Use rechargeable batteries. Many batteries contain

metals that are better kept out of landfills.

Paper or plastic?

Even better, use a canvas bag every time you go

shopping.

Use both sides of paper. Set your copier to make

double sided copies and you will substantially reduce

your paper use.
