This wide shot of the whole band is used to establish the setting and all 4 members. The iconography from the clip is that it is clear that the genre is rock because of the guitars, drums and large amplifiers in the background. The beginning of this video is a link on from another Fall Out Boy video ( Dance, Dance).

The next shot is a close up of the phone in which one of the band members is listening too, the video promotes the phone and the music is amplified by the pace of the music. Throughout the video close ups of the main artist are used but also close ups of the other band members are used to show that they are equal and have individual characteristics which us as an audience can make personnel connections.

This medium shot of three characters within the video, challenge the style and conventions of a typical rock music video, from this we would associate the characters to be in a rap music video because of the clothing they are wearing.

The next shot is a wide shot showing the band playing and also there is a party. A party is often seen in rock music videos along with the pop genre. The mess they have created also shows that they are reckless and are having fun which links to the rebellious genre.

This shot shows voyeurism in the music video as the computer downloads an image of one of the band members. The setting in a girls bedroom challenges the stereotypes of rock videos but links to the overall narrative.

Again in this part of the clip, voyeurism is used as all band members are surrounded by women and are used as a sex symbol, this also shows the band as being popular and all girls are supposed to like the band members.

This two person mid shot of the two popular band members allows us to see there costume and their facial expressions. From this we see that they are having fun and their costume amplifies the genre as it is black but formal. Another iconic feature in most Fall Out Boy videos is that they always dress formal such as the shirt and tie.

This medium close up of the main vocalist is used to show him telling the narrative in the video. Again aspects from other genres are included therefore subverting from the stereotypical rock genre for example the choir. Also there are may iconic elements from other Fall Out Boy videos which the audience would recognise.

The ending shot to the music video is the band performing live in front of an audience, this is also a typical aspect in which rock videos include. Throughout the video the music and lyrics have no link therefore subverting each other but there is some aspects like the pace and stereotypes which make the music and visuals have a connection therefore amplifying the video.
