PRIMARY COLOURS

There are three primary colours: red, yellow and blue. They are called primary colours because you can mix them to create all the colours of the rainbow.

SECONDARY COLOURS

Primary colours can be mixed to create the secondary colours of orange, green and purple.

COMPLEMENTARY COLOURS

Complementary Colours are pairs of colours that sit opposite one another on the colour wheel.Red- greenBlue- orangeYellow- purple

ANALOGOUS COLOURS

Analogous Colours sit next to each other on the colour wheel. They tend to look pleasant together because they are closely related.

TERTIARY COLOURS

Tertiary colours are those created by the mixing of any primary colour and a secondary colour.
