WHAT IS ABORTION?

Is the interruption of embryo development during pregnancy , when it has not yet reached maturity fetal , or enough capacity to live outside the womb .

Spontaneous abortion happens when an embryo or fetus is expelled from the uterus of the woman : natural causes are related in Most Cases , health and age of the pregnant woman

Induced abortion is done voluntarily with or

without medical assistance.

ABORTION IN COLOMBIA

In 2006 the constitutional court legalized abortion just in 3 specific cases:1.When the fetus presents malformation 2. When the pregnancy is product of rape 3.When the mom’s life is in danger

1. FETUS MALFORMATION

Some cases of fetus malformation are: Macro – Microcephaly Down’s syndrome Heart Disease

MACRO- MICROCEPHALY

Those are cranial disorders growth with abnormalities in cranial size resulting from alterations in the cranial bones, or the central nervous system, congenital or acquired character.

DOWN’S SYNDROME

Is an additional genetic material alters the course of development and causes the characteristics associated with Down syndrome. A few of the common physical traits of Down syndrome are low muscle tone, small stature, an upward slant to the eyes, and a single deep crease across the center of the palm - although each person with Down syndrome is a unique individual and may possess these characteristics to different degrees, or not at all.
