We believe differentiated instruction makes science accessible to all learners.
Believing is AchievingAchieve3000 believes America can be the leader in science and meet the
STEM goal to move students from the middle to the top in science achievement.
But doing so requires a new approach. We believe core science curriculum
must be accessible to all learners in order to achieve successful outcomes
for every student at every mastery level. It must provide experiential, student-
centered learning opportunities to engage and motivate students, and turn
science into a passionate pursuit. The curriculum must support science
educators at all levels, so teachers and students can succeed together
in the classroom, and on state and national assessments.
Achieve3000 believes educators need a new generation of core science
curriculum to meet these challenges. As it has with its industry-leading
differentiated online literacy solutions, Achieve3000 is leading the way with
a new, differentiated core science program developed in partnership with
National Geographic Learning. Introducing eScience3000 for grades 6-8.
Easily customized, web-based curricula meet each state’s science scope and sequence to help students prepare for the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and achieve STEM goals
Differentiated instruction yields successful learning outcomes for every student at every mastery level
Inquiry-based investigations offer learning opportunities to engage students and give them the real-world skills they need for science success
Scientific inquiry in the classroom is advanced by transitioning students from direct inquiry to open inquiry, and increasing students’ readiness to engage in increasingly complex scientific reasoning
Integrates literacy in the science classroom
Summative and formative assessments measure students’ outcomes and help students practice for required state and national science assessment tests
Provides support for science educators at all levels

eScience3000: the first core science program differentiated by students’ reading levels
Connecting every student to science, making every student “science literate”
Freeman Hrabowski IIIPresident, University of Maryland, Baltimore County
Chair, National Academies Committee Report,“Expanding Underrepresented Minority Participation: America’s
Science and Technology Talent at the Crossroads”
It is well documented that the United States needs a strong science and technology workforce to maintain global leadership and competitiveness.
A new way to teach and learn scienceeScience3000 is the only differentiated science instruction solution to deliver successful learning outcomes for every student at every mastery level. Here’s how the program works:
eScience3000™ is the core science solution for grades 6-8 to uniquely combine the expertise of Achieve3000, the industry-leading provider of differentiated instruction, with National Geographic, the leader in engaging science content.
Importantly, eScience3000 is the first Web-based program aligned to national and state standards focusing on core science content acquisition, while seamlessly reinforcing key literacy needs, including reading comprehension, relevant vocabulary and writing skills. The impact of improving literacy in the context of science instruction is profound.
In fact, data show students who are prepared in reading have a 300% greater chance of success in science than students who are unprepared in reading.*
By differentiating content and lessons based on each student’s specific reading level, eScience3000 makes science accessible to all learners, including those requiring Spanish support. By utilizing high-quality and highly engaging content, including videos and photos from National Geographic, eScience connects deeply and viscerally with students. The result: differentiated, online science curriculum of extraordinary impact and effectiveness.
