Northfield Academy One year on - how we are meeting the

challenges

Wed 7 Dec 2011 6.30 – 8 pm at the Academy

A  year  after  we  successfully  campaigned  to  keep  the  school  open,  the  threat  of  school  closures   is  back  on  the  Council's  agenda.    This  provides  an  urgent  background  to  this  year's  Parent  Council  AGM  and  the  challenges  we  face  at  the  school.    For  example  we  need  to  address  concerns  regarding  pupil  attainment,  school  roll,  staffing   levels  and  once  again  ensuring  the  future  of  Northfield  Academy.    Nevertheless  the  school  has  made  some  iimportant  achievements.      To  discuss  these   issues  and  hear  about  the  progress  the  school   is  making,  you  are   invited  to  this  vitally   important  meeting.    This  will  allow  you  to  hear  about  what  the  school  has  been  achieving   in  the   last  year  and  how  we  can  address  these  challenges  the  school  will   face  in  the  year  to  come.
