E-business commonly named as electronic business may be defined as a business process that lies on an automated information system or Web based technologies. The most basic definition of e-business is simply this: using the internet to connect with customers, partners, and suppliers . E-Business can also be described as the Business process by using electronic media such as the Internet, Intranet, Extranet and some other computer networks, wireless transmissions, etc. Engaging in e-business means adopting surplus goods, selling products directly to consumers, or joining in online purchasing cooperatives with their competitors.

HISTORY E-Business first began in the early 1990s as simple, text-based websites that offered product information. Over time E-Business evolved into more than just selling information products. According to business society of India in last few years India has become the largest and fastest user of e-business in Asia and 4th in the world.

KINDS OF E BUSINESSBusiness to business : refers to a company selling or buying from other companies .The company communicate with other companies by electronic means.

Business to customer : the company first establishes the web on the internet . The company can put up the information on the web. So the customer can order the product from the websites. The company must inform the public its existence using traditional means of online advertising.

EDUCATON SERVICE Technical institutions : Provide education, training and services to schools and students, such as curriculum development, student exchanges, and tutoring in both academic and technical subjects for high school graduates and other adults. The educational services industry includes a variety of institutions that offer, vocational or career and technical instruction, and training to millions of students each year.Online education : Online education lacks interaction with professors and other students can meet together in chat rooms to discuss questions or assignments.  In fact, there are some live courses, in which students meet with their instructor in an online classroom for class.

MARKETING Marketing is a process that identify, and satisfy consumer needs. These needs are both real and imagined .

Identifying needs is about finding what consumer want now, anticipating needs is about finding out what consumer might need in 2,3,5,years time and Satisfying those needs is making sure that customer gets what they want.

Lastly, satisfying those needs of the customer with product or service.

MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Mass media is a term used as a class of the media specifically conceived and designed to reach a very large audience such as the population of a nation state.

Mass media can be used for various purposes :Advocacy, both for business and social concerns. Enrichment and education. Journalism. Public service announcements.

Audio recording and reproduction : Sound recording and reproduction is the electrical or mechanical re- creation or amplification of sound, often as music. This involves the use of audio equipment such as microphones, recording devices and loudspeakers.

Broadcasting : Broadcasting is the distribution of audio or video signals to a number of recipients that belong to a large group may be the public or a relatively large audience within the public.

HEALTH CARE Health care is the preservation of mental and physical well-being through the prevention, treatment, and management of illness and services offered by the medical, nursing, and allied health professions. The organized provision of such services may constitute a health care system .

Lower customer support cost - Customer refer to the web for the queries, the number of customer support can be reduced.

CONCLUSION E-Business is an overarching term for service, sales, and collaborative business conducted over the Internet, either business-to-consumer or business-to business.

Finally, we observe that E Business is a business which is done through internet.
