Adele is a English singer/songwriter who has earned an MBE and is recognised across the world. Adele is shown on the front of the album with her eyes closed. Because she is photographed so close her face takes up most of the album cover which grabs the viwers attention. She is photographed in black and white which creates a bold contrast, also allowing the white and light green lettering of the album name to stand out.

The overall look of the album is very simple, but uses the minimalistic view effectively. Because she is a well known artist Adele can use her image to sell her music hence why she is shown on the front of the album. The Number 21 is in a green tone because with each new album that is released the number changes depending on how old Adele was when she wrote the music. Overall the album is eye catching and allows the viewer to be intrigued into buying and listening to the album.

The back of the album follows the same black and white tonal theme, and shows Adele photographed again this time looking into the camera making direct mode of address. This grabs the viewers attention and makes them interested in the album. The tracks are listed to the side of the photo in a white font so that they stand out against the black background.
