Who is one of the most courages women in the world? Coretta Scott King. She is my role model. I am going to talk

about her childhood and family, life events and influences,

achievements and character traits and challenges and fun

facts.

Childhood and family

First, comes her childhood and family. As a child she was separated from her family members. She worked as a house slave or a maid. But when she

entered high school all the kids would've made fun of her. She went to Lincoln High school. She

became a valedictorian there and graduated to go to college. Coretta Scott King went to Dillard

University. Throughout her childhood she loved music. Her family was just her and her parents. Her

father was Obadiah Scott and her mother is Bernice Mcmurray Scott. Of course, as most of you know her husband was Martin Luther King jr. Her daughters were Bernice King and Yondola King.

Her sons were Dexter Scott King and Martin Luther King |||.

Life events and influences

Next, her important life events and influences. I am going to talk about her important life events first. She married Martin Luther King and accepted the that she

had to protest for her husbands and her own right. People were disgusted with her because of protesting. She had 4 kids and raised and protected them safely

from harmful people. In her honor of these brave challenges that faced her she is known as a civil rights leader! Some of her influences were her husband for

standing up and breaking the rights of race, her children for for being brave enough to control there emotions based on their family. And Rosa Parks for

taking such a bold stand on the bus.

Accomplishments and character

character traits. Her accomplishments are protesting until Martin Luther King jr. Day

came to be on his birthday. Also she spoke for and woke up for every single African American

person. She staged freedom concerts which gave great speeches about racism and how it's wrong. And when Martin Luther King died, she

didn't cry, she spoke on his behalf!!! Her positive character traits are being calm and

peaceful, forgetting what happened in the past, powerful and bravery, perseverance and

independence, and most of all tons of integrity and that adds up to be 10x a role model

Challenges and fun factsLastly, her challenges and some fun

facts. Some of her challenges that faced her were white people that despised her

husband and people that just thought blacks were lower than them, which I think is rubbish. Some fun facts are... Her nickname is coco. She became

friends with politicians after her husbands death. Coretta Scott King died at age 79 and she died of ovarian cancer and she was the First African American

woman to lie in the Gorigeia state casket.

In conclusion, we learned a lot about Coretta Scott King. She is

a fascinating woman with amazing integrity and bravery. Now, Do you know who Coretta
