Mailing Houses- provide services and solutions for the preparation and distribution of
our customers’ international and domestic mail and parcels.
BMCs- (aka Network Distribution Centers) consolidate the processing of originating
mail into fewer sites to achieve greater operational efficiency and reduce transportation
costs while expanding the surface transportation reach for more products.
2) How do they charge?
BMCs- Charge by commercial, retail or flat rates.
Texas Mailing House- “How We Charge- All jobs come with a 50.00 set-up fee, which
covers most all front-end and delivery activities. This includes list preparation,
certification, filling out postal forms, and delivery to the post-office. Bank-end activities,
which include printing, folding, inserting, tabbing, and addressing are charged on a per-
piece rate, and are itemized on the job invoice, along with US postage. North Texas
Mailing guarantees that you get the minimum postage rate available.”

Mailing Houses- They get them the most discounted prices possible for certain parts of
the process and cut down on time between presorting and getting mail ready to delivery.
