An associate degree is awarded after the completion of 20 courses or the credit equivalent which is about 50 credit hours. An associate degree can be completed in about 2 years of schooling. via
What is an Associate Degree?
The Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Applied Arts, Associate of Applied Technology, and Associate of Occupational Studies are all occupational associate's degrees. Students that complete occupational associate degrees will be prepared to enter the workforce immediately upon graduation. Occupational associate degrees can also be transferred towards a bachelor degree. via
