I completed a survey using the website surveymonkey and managed to collect a range of responses and here is an overview of the feedback I got

from each of the questions.

Question 1How well do you think the lyrics of the song link to the visuals?

For this question the majority of the responses that I got said that the link between the visuals and the lyrics of the song were good. The positive thing was that there was only good and excellent responses for this question which was helpful in seeing that the looking that I wanted to achieve had been complete.

Question 2How professional does the video look on a scale of 1 to 5?

For this question I wanted to find out if my video was professional looking and made to a high standard. The feedback that I received was mainly in the 4 and 5 category highlighting that people think that my video looks professional which is how I wanted it to look. Although 3 is not bad this is not as good as the higher numbers. I will continue through the feedback which may give me some indication of the improvements which I need to make.

Question 3What would you say the best aspect of the video is?

For the third question I asked, I wanted to find out what the best aspect of the video was. When looking at the data that was given it is clear that people thought that there were different aspects which were the best. This is good as it makes me aware that the majority of the aspects are well made and thought about.

Question 4Are there any improvements you would make to the video? If so what are these?

For this question I only received 5 answers. Some of these were helpful to me as I wanted to find out what I could do to make the video more professional looking and I will be able to consider what I have gained from these responses to make my video a higher standard. In addition to this as I only received 5 answers for this question I may consider asking this question again to more people to try and gain some more feedback.

Question 5How would you rate the following aspects of the video

For this question I wanted to find out what people though about each of the different aspects of my video being; lip syncing, editing, shot types, and locations. The grey bar highlights when it was rated 4/5 and the blue bar highlights when it was rated 5/5. it is good to see that the results I got were all either 4 or 5, which suggests to me that the aspects which I got feedback on were all made very well.

Question 6Does the artist highlight the typical pop artist?

For the 6th question I wanted to find out purely if how I represented my artist was the typical way a pop artist was portrayed. This is very positive as all the answers that I received said that she portrayed herself as a typical pop artist. This means that all the aspects such as clothing, makeup and locations were the correct decisions for my music video and clearly highlight the genre of pop.

Question 7Are there a variety of shots, locations and costumes within the video? If not does this need improving?

For this question I wanted to find out if the shots, locations and clothing were all suitable to the video and if any improvements needed making. When making the video this was a main concept that I focused on in order to make sure that it clearly highlighted both the video and artist as pop genre. Looking at the feedback given the results are all very positive saying that there are a wide variety and I do not need to improve this. This is very positive to me.
