“Doing the BA in Exercise & Health Studies was definitely one of the best things I’ve done in my life. I never
expected to learn so much that I could use, not only in my career but also in relation to my own personal health
and wellness. This programme covers a broad range of modules but really emphasises the applied side of things
that you will need when working in this area. Be prepared to get outside of your comfort zone as the programme
is multi-disciplinary in nature and explores a lot of avenues in relation to exercise & health which involves both
practical and theoretical components”

“If I was to offer any advice to people considering this course, it would be to ask yourself are you
health, exercise or fitness driven, do you see yourself working in this field and do you want to go on a 4
year journey that is demanding at times but also offers a huge social network. Think hard before you
choose your course as these prime years of your life should be used to engage in a course that will
help you grow and develop and progress to a career that you want. Don’t let others decide what is right
for you, go with your gut feeling and take the plunge”.

Owner of Cardiocare, Community Cardiac Rehabilitation Service
