In our opinion, “El Sardinero” is the most beautiful beach in Santander.

Every summer, a lot of tourists visit “El Sardinero”

This beach is very big. It is 1300 meters long.

In addition, young people can surf there.

Magdalena beach is in Santander, specifically in ‘’La península de la Magdalena.’’

Before, this beach was a spa for the king. Now, it is a normal beach where every summer a lot of people sunbathe and swim.

Mataleñas beach is in Santander, too. It is located next to the golf course.

This beach is125 meters long. This is the shortest beach in Santander.

Besides, the colour of the sand is like the gold.

And the access is very difficult because there are a lot of stairs.

This beach has got two spaces. One of them with sand and another space with grass.

Many children and their families go to make sand castles. And they swim in the sea because it is a safe beach.

Next to the beach, there is an hermitage. The beach and the hermitage have got the same name.

Camello beach is in Santander. It is next to Magdalena Beach.

This beach is called “El Camello” because there is a rock with the shape of a camel.

This beach is 200 meters long.

This beach is very long.

Maruca beach has got sand and rocks. But the majority are rocks.

In this beach, there are a lot of fishermen. They can catch a lot of colourful fish, octopus, etc.

Besides, there are many big waves. It is a dangerous beach.

I do not understand why this beach is called “Peligros”, because it is not dangerous.
