Believe I Can Academy

• Believe I Can Academy helps create educational opportunities with specialized instruction for individuals with unique needs. We are creating educational success by utilizing private tutors which can be accessed through the Empowerment Scholarship. Believe I Can Academy is striving to meet all of the needs of individuals with special needs, their family and community. We advocate, enrich, educate and encourage all individuals. We are attaining the unattainable one dream at a time. We are creating successful individuals at every ability level!

Mission Statement

• We believe that an individual’s learning potential is unlimited. The highest priority at Believe I Can Academy is to achieve success for each individual through continued support and individualized training.• We understand that all individuals have specific and unique needs and that

they deserve a safe, nurturing, positive and goal oriented place in which to grow. Inclusionary based learning and opportunities are the foundation for success in all areas. This also includes their parents, siblings, teachers, therapists, friends and the surrounding communities. Believe I Can Academy’s approach to training and empowerment of individual achievement encompasses both the strong support and connection within the surrounding communities and families. Maintaining a positive environment both socially and intellectually is imperative for the growth of all parties.

Stepping OUTSIDE the box!! Creating Opportunities!!

We are challenging conventional methods of instruction and program by providing our individuals with experiences based on their specific individual needs. For one individual learning new information and/or skills may be challenging in a group environment and an individualized approach may be needed. This same individual may succeed in other tasks in a group environment. Believe I Can Academy is committed to providing an enlightening environment so that all individual can learn, create and work together. Essentially, programming is generated and created based on each individual’s specific needs and goals.We provide a new way of thinking about the roles of organized activities and instruction. We understand that these will likely change in a truly individualized setting. The expertise of the instructors in creating daily activity plans that teach core skills will be implemented. This will include the instructor’s specialized expertise in making adaptations and modifications and scaffolding to each lesson and activity so as to achieve optimal benefit for the individual. As a cohesive team of instructors, faculty, therapists and families, the team will work together to address the individual needs ending up in lifelong successes.

We support our community in participating in the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk, Down Syndrome Clinic at PCH, Feed My Starving Children, Fort McDowell Native American community, food banks and spreading love and smiles in our community. We also send our creative designs out across the United ns. States for charity auction.

Community field trips open to the public. We plan them and then we invite all of our friends with and without disabilities.

We advocate for individuals with special needs to ensure they are receiving the education they deserve. We believe all children have the right to an equal educational experience, we bridge the gap between parent and school district. We look for resolutions that can best serve the CHILD.

We provide Private Tutoring for individuals with special needs with specialized and individualized instruction by

Certified Teachers.
