Franklin was a man indeed worth writing about. He is considered a founding father of America. He also was a great inventor, scientist, and politician among other things.

Ben Franklin was born 1706 He died in 1790 He died an American He was the 15th of 17 children

I chose this picture because Ben Franklin because it showed his creativity. It was pure genius: taking a key to attract electricity. Among other things, he discovered electricity: what it really was and how to harness it. Electricity is a crucial part of everyday life

Creative people all have a common quality: they are open minded. They are also observant. People that share that quality are Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin. These people listen and pay attention. These gentleman changed the society in which they lived in greatly.

This made Ben Franklin rich and mad e him able to retire at age 42. This pamphlet was a best seller, selling about 10,000 copies per year! That may not seem like a lot, but that is a lot at the time because at the time the population was so low.

The social impact of such creative gentlemen is great. Look at Bill Gates. Gates created a personal computer. This concept was revolutionary because at the time, most computers were huge, expensive machines that were used at work, but seldom did one own one for personal use. Similarly, Franklin created an almanac. These books were and still are great reference sources.

A lot of people in the world wear glasses. This concept was invented by Ben Franklin. He wanted to improve his vision, and decided to do research. Eventually he figured out that convex lenses could make something bigger.

How could one man do such revolutionary things? He invented glasses, stoves, and discovered electricity among other things . This man was able to accomplish these things because he had the creativity, and just a little luck on his side. As he puts it, “Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing. “
