In Norway schools have a psychologist who advises students, parents and teachers for several problems which they have to deal with.

In Greece there is not a psychologist in schools. Some of them have a psychologist as a part of a pilot programme.

In Norway there is a career counsellor who informs students about their professional perspectives.

In Greece school career counselling is a part of a lesson and it is being taught as a part of school curriculum.

In Norway there is the Educational and Psychological Counselling Service (PPT). PPT is a municipal or county municipal advisory and guidance service. Its intention is to aid children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing development difficulties or having difficulties related to education.

In Greece the school itself has to face the problems of the students cooperating with counselling services.
