Time to FLIP into School!

• Introductions

• Interdisciplinary Team

• One-Take

• 30-60 Seconds MAX!


Protocol

• Time, you have 20 minutes.

• Head Out into the Building and find a comfortable spot.

• Each person, follow the Suggested Topics to outline a Script.

• Rehearse a few times!

• One Take Video! Point, Click, Shoot, Stop, Rotate!

• Person One is the Filmer

• Person Two is the Time Keeper

• Person Three is the Script Holder

• Person Four is the Encourager

• Person Five is the STAR!

• After each introduction, Rotate Positions until everyone has had a chance to do all.


Script

• Name

• What do you teach, possibly team, location in building

• Fun things you can help people learn

• Fun things you can not do

• Other info? Family, hobbies, interesting facts.

• Remember 60 seconds is the MAXIMUM time. Practice to check out how long yours may be.

What instructional strategies do you already do in your class to support the learning of core literacies?

Take a moment to jot them down in your notebook, on a piece of paper, where-ever.

Please draw a line down the middle of your paper and write your instructional strategies in the left column.


Give One-Get One


• Walk around the room during the music and stop when the music stops.

• Find your closest neighbor.

• “Give” them one of your instructional strategies.

• “Get” one of theirs.

• Write it in the right column of your notebook.

• Repeat.
