Why they made the food guide?
• Canada made a food guide so they can keep you healthy.
• They don’t just make it for nothing.
• It is a good idea to use it because it can help prevent over weight, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease it also prevents certain types of cancer.
Our age group.
• Our age group is 9-13.
• Fruit and Vegetables- we should have 6 servings per day.
• Grain products- 6 servings per day.
• Milk and Alternatives- 3-4 servings per day.
• Meat and Alternatives- 1-2 servings per day.
The Food Guide
• I think that it is good to say that you need certain amount of servings per day and I think some people say that they don’t need that to stay healthy but it is a great way to stay healthy.
How it works
• The food guide is put in different category's for different age groups.
• There are four different groups Fruit and Vegetables, Grain products, Milk and Alternatives and Meat and Alternatives.
