Another important point of Soviet imagery is the idea of collective effort. So in many of the propaganda posters, you see ordinary people contributing. in these two posters workers holding flags, but, it's the farmer, it's the engineer, its the militia men. What we're actually seeing here is an embodiment of Soviet goals about the role of the individual in part of a collective struggle
