The Story

• Two girls from Florida America aged 12 and 14 years of age have been arrested with the death of 12 year old girl who committed suicide after being bullied by the girls.

• The bullying was done online also known as cyber bullying. On of the post made of Facebook from one of the girls who were arrested read she didn’t care about the suicide of the 12 year old girl Rebecca Sedwick.

Past Information• Rebecca Ann Sedwick had been terrorized by as many as 15 girls before she

decided to commit suicide.

• She decided to commit suicide at a top of a tower at an abandoned concrete plant and jumped off.

• The bullying started over a ‘boyfriend issue’ at Crystal Lake middle school apparently, but they will never be able to find out the true reason why Rebecca did what she did.

• In December she cut her wrists and was hospitalised for 3 days, after that she left Crystal Lake Middlesex school but the online bullying still continued afterwards.

• Before she committed suicide she changed one of her online names to ‘That Dead Girl’ and then messaged a boy in North Carolina that she was going to jump. After that she climbed a tower and took a leap to her death.

• The 15 girls that ganged up on Rebecca had bullied her for nearly a year, picking on her and cyber bulling her with messages such as “You should die” and “why don’t you go kill yourself”.

After Her Death

• After her death the police found in her computer search engine, queries such as "what is overweight for a 13-year-old girl," "how to get blades out of razors" and "how many over-the-counter drugs do you take to die."
