Our film has one main character which is Kieran For someone to play the part of Kieran they need to be a strong actor because our short film has very little dialogue. So the acting will need to have lots of emotion as it is a very delicate subject matter so this needs to be done superbly

To play Kieran we have asked a boy how has current become partially blind if he would help the group out at the moment this is still pending as it is a big thing to ask of him. Also due to him still being a full time student it may be difficult to get off of timetable.

I have put up an advert on www.starnow.co.uk on this site you able to put out advertisements for actors, models, singers etc and then they can reply to you.

Worst case scenario if we need to change Heena from being the mum to keep the realism of the film, I will be more than willing to play the part and as it is a small part this will not affect Heena with the camera work/directing etc.

To play the mum their faces are not needed to be seen, they can be played by anyone and Heena offered to play the part to help the group with the casting. As it is a small part this will not affect Heena with the camera work/directing etc.

As for this part we only need a voice over all we needed to play the voice of the dad, is have a deep and mature voice. We considered a few people and then made a final decision as a group.

To play the girl on the phone we considered around 3 people to play the part. We interviewed all girls and decided that Sonia Botha would be the best as she has most experience. As she does not attend our school it also means that she does not need to be taken off of timetable.

Kevin (Friend 1) & Jermaine (Friend 2) - As it is only a small part this can be played by someone from our school however in their free lessons or after school.

However to play the friend Alex offered to play part to help the group with the casting. As it is a small part this will not affect Alex with the camera work/directing etc.
