Best way to track RSS subscribes & reads is by using a 3rd party called Feedburner (owned by Google)
To track links in RSS feeds (also if people click on links in newsletters, tweets, facebook posts etc.) use Googles tag builder function
Use URL shorterners bit.ly, goo.gl, etc to obtain additional analytic data
