Aims of the Workshop…
• Identify sources and strategies for maintaining and developing current awareness skills
•Locate and use info resources How: - Group discussion Hands On at Pc
Time: - 3 hrs

Results:•40 staff attended•Session repeated•Enjoyed group discussion and brushing up their skills
•Most people want to learn more
•“Too busy”- no time for prof dev

Feedback….The tutor highlighted a number of things that I didn’t know
were available. I hope the course will be repeated so all lib staff can attend. Useful to gain knowledge and share it with fellow staff. There is a need for sharing prof dev strategies. Learned good new things. Found it very helpful.
